Call for papers
The International Society for Geomorphometry and the Organizing Committee, are pleased to announce the seventh Geomorphometry Conference to be held in Iasi, Romania, July 10-14 2023. The event is hosted by the Department of Geography, Faculty of Geography and Geology (www.geo.uaic.ro), Alexandru Ioan Cuza University of Iasi (www.uaic.ro). Details on past editions of the conference are on the geomorphometry.org website.
300 words abstracts and 4-page extended abstracts are expected to be submitted through the Easy Chair system (https://easychair.org/my/conference?conf=geomorphometry2023) by 22nd February 2023.
Contributions to the conference will be evaluated by the scientific committee, and authors will be notified of acceptance/rejection of their abstract by 28th February 2023; extended abstracts (maximum 4 pages) will be collected into a volume of proceedings that will be available online before the conference and printed at the conference. Call for Workshops
At every Geomorphometry Conference, several workshops are organized. The organizing committee invites proposals for workshops to be held in conjunction with the main event. Workshop proposals should be submitted by 15th February 2022 by mail to the organizers. Friday (14th July 2022) will be the main day for workshops.
The overall purpose of a workshop is to provide participants with the opportunity to learn and discuss on novel software tools/data. Topics of the proposed workshops should, therefore, be aligned with those set forth in the call for papers for the main event.
Call for Achievement Award
At every Geomorphometry Conference, an Achievement Award is given. There will be a call for candidate proposals.
